Meet Dr. Courtney
Dr. Courtney holds her Ph.D. in Counseling, Clinical and School psychology. She has worked with individuals, children and families since 2008 in a wide variety of roles but always centered around positive and strengths based intervention. She loves working with her clients to provide evidence-based (well-researched and PROVEN) strategies for development. As a mom of four, she also enjoys working with parents on making intentional parenting a part of their daily routines, not an added chore.

What to Expect
In 1:1 sessions, we will review your reasons for seeking a session whether you want to learn more, set goals for yourself, explore appropriate milestones, boost friendship skills, resilience or have a concern about how to handle certain behaviors. We also work through your issues that get in the way of you being the partner, parent or person you want to be.

Once we identify the topic for the first session, we will review evidence-based solutions to address your needs and create an action plan. Then, we will schedule a follow-up call, chat or video session to review progress and determine whether another session is needed.
Unlike therapy, mental health coaching can be a one-off session to address a specific issue or ongoing coaching depending on what works best for you.
