"There are two things we should give our children. One is roots, the other is wings."

Meet Dr. Courtney

Parent Coaching

What to Expect

In our 1:1 sessions, we will review your reasons for seeking a session whether you want to learn more, explore appropriate developmental milestones, boost your child's friendship skills, resilience or have a concern about how to handle certain behaviors. We also work through your issues that get in the way of you being the parent and partner you want to be.

Once we identify the topic for the first session, we will review evidence-based solutions to address your needs and create an action plan. Then, we will schedule a follow-up call, chat or video session to review progress and determine whether another session is needed. Unlike therapy, this can be a one-off session to address a specific issue or ongoing coaching depending on what works best for you.
